Dariusz Oleszak is a Professor of materials science at the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering, Warsaw University of Technology. His current research topics include: (1) mechanical alloying applied for synthesis of various materials, (2) metallic glasses, (3) high entropy alloys, (4) structural characterization and properties determination of synthesised materials. He is the author/co-author of 180 papers, including 143 from the JCR list. Co-organizer of 8 international conferences and symposia (e.g. INCOME, EMRS, ISMANAM, RQ). During his carrier he completed long-term stay at the Department of Metal Science, Kyoto University, Japan. Prof. Oleszak is a membership of professional societies: International Mechanochemical Association (IMA), Deutsche Gesellschaft für Materialkunde, Polish Society of Materials Science. He is also a chairman of Nanomaterials Group of Materials Science Committee, Polish Academy of Sciences.
