Lidia Tajber

Lidia is Associate Professor in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology as well as Director of Research in the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. She received her MPharm degree from Medical University of Silesia, Poland, and PhD from Trinity. She joined the School in 2007 as a lecturer and in 2020 was elected Fellow of Trinity College for her accomplishments in research. Lidia has published over 110 peer-reviewed manuscripts, contributed to numerous international conference presentations and is a co-inventor on patent applications. Her research concentrates on pharmaceutical ionic liquids (anti-crystal engineering), multicomponent pharmaceutical systems such as salts, cocrystals and amorphous materials and rational preformulation studies leading to quality solid-state formulations. She has successfully participated in collaborative, multidisciplinary and industry-led research consortia funded by Science Foundation Ireland, Enterprise Ireland and the European Commission leading to high impact research.
