Ana Belenguer

(University of Cambridge, England, United Kingdom)

Born in Madrid.  I am now a resident in the UK. Before moving to the University of Cambridge, Department of Chemistry, I worked as an analytical chemistry manager in research and development departments of various pharmaceutical companies, specialising in HPLC. In Cambridge, I joined Professor Jeremy Sanders working on dynamic covalent chemistry (DCC) in solution. Later, I developed the new field of solid state DCC, focussing on the study of the fundamentals of ball mill grinding, specifically on polymorph transformations.   I am currently a guest scientist in BAM (Berlin) with Dr Franziska Emmerling where I have had the opportunity of working with Bessy II, the synchrotron in Berlin.
